Top Bus Conversion RV Accessories

Here is a list with some of my favorite bus conversion and RV items that we use on our bus. Some of these products help us get from A-B and others are just really convenient items to use while on the bus. Amazon is an amazing resource for us to be able to order items and have them sent to us just about anywhere we are staying. It's hard to beat Amazon's pricing or convenience, but feel free to shop around for better pricing or availability.

The following items are not in any particular order.

1. The water bandit deserves to be one the list. This thing can really come in handy in a pinch. Like if a campground does not have hose threads on a water spigot. It's usually under $6 and with free shipping. https://amzn.to/2MIAPAc

2. These jack stands are great for holding our bus steady while parked. Without the the bus rocks and sways a lot when we are parked. they are not for leveling the bus but with each jack supporting 6k lbs. you could use them to level it up an inch or so. https://amzn.to/2C2Jx8R

3. My tire pressure monitor system is a huge favorite of mine too. Always know the tire pressures and temperatures. Huge worry off my back when driving on strange road surface or vibration. https://amzn.to/2A1OT2F

4. Best toilet non smelly additive I've found. https://amzn.to/2E9eRp7 Happy Campers

5. Holding tank rinser and clear gate valve attachment. Keeps shit hose clean and rinsed. https://amzn.to/2A1R7PH

6. This dual battery meter test switch is great also. I can flip it up to see start battery voltage and down to see house battery voltage displayed In the middle position it's off and not using any battery power. https://amzn.to/2QHsKMN

7. Scotts Rapid Dissolve RV Toilet Paper. Your butt will love this!!! Super Soft. https://amzn.to/2RYLext

8. One of my favorite things in my bus is the mattress cover. It bacically seals the mattress against water, mold, dust mites, etc. it’s like a giant mattress condom except it’s as soft as a bed sheet. Remember those plastic couch covers your grandma had in the 70’s? Well this is exactly like that in principle but it’s soft and not made from harsh chemicals. If you have ever read about mattresses they double in weight over their 8 yr lifespan. Mostly dead skin cells and dust mites and creepy stuff like that. This cover keeps all that crap out of the bed mattress. In an Rv with more fluctuating humidity levels than a home i think it’s even more important to have one. Ours Is made from bamboo fiber and hypoallergenic. I love ours they are under $20-$30 and it’s well worth it to protect your mattress investment and maybe even improve your health by not sleeeping on a dust mite infested mattress. https://amzn.to/2QVUcuX

9. Digital Temperature gauge for engine coolant temps. With a Detroit Diesel 2 stroke monitoring the engine temperature is critical. Never guess the temperature with this gauge. https://amzn.to/2MEfuaX

10. Macerator Pump. Very inexpensive and it actually works. Sometimes finding a dump station is not convenient. With this you can pump your poo through a garden hose into a toilet in a house uphill. https://amzn.to/2MxcVr5

11. Laundry Egg. This small egg packs a punch. It's so small and washes up to 120 loads of laundry. Space saving items are always a huge plus for use on an RV. https://amzn.to/2S8WfeV

12. Atom smoke detector Very small but works great. https://amzn.to/2RUyRlT

13. Carbon monoxide detector. Must have!! https://amzn.to/2TlS0tA

14. Copper Chef Induction Cooktop. https://amzn.to/2TlSmAq
